Principal’s Message

Hello West Campus Families,

At last week’s board meeting, school district leadership presented a plan for reopening schools.  The presentation is linked here. This plan was not voted on by the board, however, it is expected to be a voting item for the school board at the first meeting in March.  This plan presents the recommendation that high schools would reopen on May 6th, provided that we have moved into the red tier and that agreements are met with labor partners.  

Many of our staff have had the opportunity to sign up for an appointment to receive their vaccination through the school district’s program or other programs.  While this is not a prerequisite for schools to reopen, it should certainly be an encouragement in the process.  I recommend that anyone in the community who has the opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, please take advantage of that option.

Virtual Paint Night- Supplies Pick Up

Thank you to those of you who purchased tickets to attend the Virtual Paint Night this Saturday.  Please note the following date/time to retrieve supplies:

Wednesday, 2/24/21- 2pm-5pm (Dr. V will be in the front of the school with supplies and registration information). 

Thursday, 2/25/21- 9am-2pm  (Please contact the front office once you arrive. Staff will meet you in the front of the school with your supplies). 

Thursday, 2/25/21-3:00pm-5:00pm (Dr. V will be in the front of the school with supplies and registration information). 

 Friday 2/26/21-9:00am-2:00pm  (Please contact the front office once you arrive. Staff will meet you in the front of the school with your supplies).
