Principal’s Message

Hello West Campus Families,

Today we celebrate having had a full two days on-site Cohort A and with Cohort B.  Students who are in Cohort C can contact me if they are interested in joining one of the in-person cohorts.

This week is teacher appreciation week, please take a moment to thank the teachers for their efforts this year.  This year, teachers have been adaptable and flexible in ways that most never knew they would be able to perform.  Teachers opened classrooms last fall to virtual learners and have opened them again this spring to a combination of in-person and virtual learners.  The ongoing planning, adaptability, and high expectations for students have created the learning environments for students to be able to succeed.

Additionally, I would like to share with the West Campus community that we have been recognized as a California Distinguished School for 2021.  This a fantastic honor and we are proud of our students and teachers for their tireless efforts that enable this type or recognition.

Thank you,

John McMeekin
