Visual Arts Teacher
Educational hats I’ve worn:
- Bilingual Aide & Interpreter
- Elementary School Teacher
- High School Art Teacher
Although I’ve helped many people in each of these jobs, I love being an Art Instructor the best by inspiring students to do things they say they can’t do, but also setting high expectations so that they try their best in order to get a good grade in the class (that’s what they want–an A) :)
West Campus is a pleasant place to be due to the fact that most students are on task, responsible, and very much goal-oriented. In addition, the school spirit is very high. An even balance of academics and fun makes learning less stressful.
When I am not teaching, you can find me chasing waterfalls. I’m a waterfall enthusiast and have chased countless waterfalls, mostly here in Northern California. My favorite is Burney Falls, where the water comes from underground springs above and at the falls, so the water level usually stays the same throughout the year.
