Principal’s Message

Hello West Campus Families,

Congratulations to Luke Torre and Zuriel Joven for being named Semi-finalists to the National Merit Scholarship program.  This merit based scholarship opportunity was earned by their strong performances on the PSAT last October.  Last year, we did not have any students who qualified for this honor.

In addition to our semi-finalists, we had four additional students who received a letter of commendation for their performance on the PSAT: DeAndre Fitzgerald, Devon Akiyama, Lawrence Chen, and Tomas Cordero.  These students earned scores that placed them among the top 16,000 scores nationwide.  Congratulations to these excellent achievements!

While seniors should be finalizing their college selections and completing their applications, all students should be exploring different colleges to see where they may be interested in attending.  Currently there are expanded virtual tour opportunities to support students as they explore college possibilities.  Please take advantage of these opportunities and reach out to me or your counselor for assistance and more information.
