Interact Club is a service-based club that strives to bring genuine and great change to the community locally, nationally, and internationally. The Interact Club at West Campus High School works together with the Rotary Club of Point West-Sacramento. Today, there are about 14,000+ Interact Clubs and 300,000+ Interactors all over the globe! Fun fact: Interact stands for International Action!
Through service activities, members learn the importance of:
Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
Demonstrating compassion and respect for others
Advancing international understanding and goodwill
Some of the many service projects that this club has completed include: writing letters and buying Christmas gifts for 40 children at Shriners Hospitals for Children; raising over $300 towards fighting World Polio; host our annual Easter Egg Hunt for 50+ students at Mark Twain Elementary School; assemble 400 Water Pasteurization Indicators for global communities; create 55 blankets for our local shelters; and many more!
