Principal’s Updates

Hello West Campus Families,
We are looking for all families to sign up for the after school program. Signing up allows us to use drop in students for our participation numbers. Please click here to sign up. Possible activities that your student could be involved in that qualify for After School Program participation are:
- Athletics
- Drama
- Library after school
- After School Tutoring with teachers
- After School Club Meetings
- Any other after school organized (or drop in) activity
PSAT and PSAT 8/9 scores will be released to student accounts this week. Use of test scores can be valuable in considering college application choices. For current juniors, high scoring students could qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSQT). High scoring freshmen and sophomores can consider ongoing preparation for junior year testing to pursue the NMSQT.
WCHS will be hosting a Blood Drive this Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm. Students can sign up at the front office.
Please note that this coming Friday is a school holiday for Veteran’s Day. There will be no school on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Sign Up Now!
Staying after school? Sign up for ASSETs! Whether it be
athletics, tutoring, or one of the clubs offered by West Campus’s
amazing staff, students are required to sign up for ASSETs
so that we can provide even more resources to the activities
you’re already doing. We open up the library daily for drop-in
tutoring, and also provide a free supper program every day right
after school in the Cafeteria. Reach out to Mr. Alex

Weekly Updates from the WCHS Counseling Team
The Counseling Calendar is now on the Foundation website. Click here for a video tutorial on how to add WCHS calendars to your personal Google calendar or follow these steps: 1) Go to https://wc-fe.org/. 2) Scroll all the way down on the home page to the calendar. 3) At the bottom right of the calendar, select the + sign next to where it says “Google Calendar.” (Your Google calendar opens up if you are already signed in.
Foundation Updates

Thank you to those families who purchased pies for our fall fundraiser, and attended our monthly Coffee Chat with the Principal on Friday, November 3rd. These are held at 8:30-9:15 AM the first Friday of each month in the cafeteria. See you on December 1st for the next one. In January, we’ll have it on January 12th due to the holiday schedule.
