This is my 20th year working at West Campus. Although things have changed a bit, this unique school holds a special place in my heart. After initially teaching Algebra, I have taught Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology ever since. From class advisor (2005 & 2014), to coaching tennis, to athletic training, now my focus is on Key Club, Green Team, and Class of 2020.
I have taught in the Sacramento City Unified School District for 25 years: 15 years teaching Technology and Business at Hiram Johnson High School; and 10 years teaching Engineering, Programming and Technology at West Campus. My qualifications include the following:
I started teaching at West Campus in 2008. This has been my home for 11 years. I have taught Physical Education for the last 14 years and tell people I have the best job. I encourage the students to find the joy of movement through a variety of physical activities. I get the opportunity to help more than 400 students a year become healthier adults.
