Homework Policy

With the intention of allowing students and families to honor school breaks for rest and recharging, the West Campus Faculty has approved the following homework policy to go in to effect for the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 school year.  This policy will remain in effect until updated or altered:

Teachers will not assign homework that is intended to be completed during a designated holiday break:

• First possible due dates for assignments will be the third day back from a break (example: school is back in session on a Monday, the first due date would be the Wednesday)
• New assignments must be assigned prior to the day before a break (example: final day before a break is Friday, assignments must be given by Thursday)
• Specified breaks that are included in this policy:
  • Thanksgiving Break
  • Winter Break
  • Spring Break
