Principal’s Updates
Sunday, February 18, 2024
Hello West Campus Families,
Tomorrow, Monday, February 19, 2024 is a school holiday for President’s Day. President’s Day was initially established in 1885 in honor of George Washington.
This week, in honor of Black History Month, we honor Langston Hughes. Langston Hughes was a poet, social activist, novelist, playwright, and columnist. Born in Joplin, Missouri, he moved to New York at young age where he attended Columbia and began publishing.
Congratulations to our Women’s Basketball team! With their 40-39 victory on Thursday evening in Marysville, they move on to the section semi-finals and have qualified for the Nor-Cal State Tournament!
