Equity Team
Meeting Report

Post

Thank you to the students, teachers, staff members, and parents who submitted responses to the February 2023 survey about how the Equity Team should spend the training funding. Of the 41 respondents, over 30 are parents, 8 are students, 2 are teachers, 1 is a staff member.

The respondents (71%) overwhelmingly voted for the training to be geared towards teachers, staff, and teachers.

And of the topics to be covered in training, Anti-Racism/Anti-Bias was prioritized #1 the most. Microaggressions and diversity/equity/inclusion tied in second place as a topic that is prioritized #1; implicit bias as last in terms of being prioritized as #1.

The Equity Team is looking at vendors and determining how best to roll out the training given the funding available.

Please join us at the next Equity Team meeting on Monday, March 27, 3:45-5:00 pm, in room 3 (across from the office).

The Equity Team has created our values and mission. Check them out!
