The Foundation enjoyed meeting families and new students at the Freshman Family Meet-and-Greet in July, at the August 25th orientation, and on the morning of August 31st. Thank you for attending these events – please continue to visit our table at upcoming events to introduce yourself.

Meetings – We have the WCFE general meetings every second Monday of the month unless there is a holiday. There is a calendar on our website as well.

Our first meeting of the year will be  Sep 11, 2023 from 6 pm-7:30 pm in West Campus room 56 and online. A link will be provided with information about a week in advance. You can check out the website calendar as well.

Volunteers Needed! There is always a need for volunteers – from chaperoning dances to attending college tours, to driving to sports event, to proctoring AP exams. 

SCUSD Volunteer Process Step-By-Step:

• 1. Complete the SCUSD Volunteer Packet 
• 2. Obtain signature approval from the front office at West Campus
• 3  Volunteers must LiveScan fingerprint. You can do so free of charge on September 14th at Back to School Night at West Campus. Contact Rosette Nguyen at vp@wc-fe.org or (916) 548-5697 for more information.
• 4. Provide a TB clearance to West Campus Front Office.  TB clearances must be updated every 4 years.
• 5. Participate in SCUSD Volunteer Training
• 6. Once Criminal Background check is complete, the SCUSD HR Department will contact West Campus with clearance/permission to begin Volunteer Service.
• 7. Chaperone drivers need to complete this form and provide an insurance declaration page and a copy of their ID on file with the front office.
