General Meeting – January 8: Please join us for the first Foundation meeting of 2024 tomorrow. You can join us in person in room 56, or call in using the Google Meet link.

Parent Mixer

Save the date – January 24th Parent Mixer. It’s a chance to mix and mingle with your Foundation board members and meet other West Campus parents. This time we are meeting at Sac City Brews (3940 60th St, Sacramento, CA 95820) at 5:30. This is a casual meet up and we encourage you to join us!

Annual Gala Fundraiser – Save the Date & Sponsor: March 2nd

The Foundation’s annual gala fundraiser will be held on March 2nd at the Mack Powell Event Center on Howe Ave! We’re currently seeking sponsors to support our biggest fundraiser of the year allowing us to serve our mission to support the West Campus students, teachers and community. Sponsorship provides valuable support to our community and is a fantastic opportunity for visibility and engagement. Please reach out to Karen Lewis (communications@wc-fe.org) for more information on sponsorships and be part of an unforgettable evening of philanthropy.

Teachers’ DonorsChoose Requests

Thank you to those West Campus community members who have contributed to teachers’ specific DonorsChoose projects. While teachers have multiple means to request for funding from the school or the Foundation, some have started DonorsChoose campaigns to fund specific classroom needs – from dissection materials to books to lab chairs. Check out the West Campus campaigns here and support our teachers.

  • Jan 15 – No school (holiday break – MLK Jr. Day)

  • Jan 26 – last day of the quarter (half day), Pancake Breakfast
  • Jan 29, 3:45 PM (room 56) – Equity Club meeting with parents and guardians 
  • Feb 10 – Winter Formal Dance
  • Feb 12 – No school (holiday break – Lincoln’s birthday)
  • Feb 19 – No school (holiday break – Presidents’ Day)
  • Mar 2 – Foundation’s Gala Fundraiser

The next student lead equity team meeting is January 29, 2024 3:45-5 pm more to come.
