Gala Update

Thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered at this year’s gala fundraiser on March 2nd. Thank you to those sponsors and donors who made our event extra special – see https://wc-fe.org/donate/fundraisers/gala-2024/ for our full list of sponsors and donors. We had over 165 guests attend and are thankful to have made over $18,000 in profit, to cover next year’s campus, teacher, and student expenses. Check out our gala video here.  

WCFE General Membership Meeting – Apr 8, 2024

Don’t forget! Foundation general meeting is tomorrow Monday April 8th. You can join us in person in room 56, or call in using the Google Meet link. 

Career Day

April 18th (morning): if you would like to discuss your career/job with students, please complete this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfm9wigzrtKfNMY_OLPcfNT92YIjcxgG3EqRi_vbAwFyQBgWA/viewform. Career Day speaker responsibilities include discussing your career path, the skills needed in your field, and offering advice on pursuing the students’ own career goals. The goal is to inspire and inform students about various career options, help them make informed decisions about their future. This is one of the many senior class projects and managed by the seniors. Their advisor is Ms. Roland. Thank you to Noah’s Bagels for sponsoring breakfast bagels. 

AP Proctoring

If you are interested and would like to learn more about proctoring an AP exam, please complete this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdpzkuRkpYncUvt9Owgi154Qh5xMPIHgx3Cikl4uDzcx6DCZQ/viewform, and Ms. Roland will get back to you. Proctor responsibilities include distributing and collecting exam materials, ensuring adherence to testing protocols, and supporting a smooth and fair exam administration for all students. The 2024 AP exams are administered over two weeks in May: May 6–10 and May 13–17.
