The Sacramento State Alumni Association is now accepting scholarship applications for students planning to attend Sacramento State in the fall. Awards of $3,000 for the 2020-21 academic year are available. Deadline: Sunday, March 15, 2020.

An applicant for this award must have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better and have applied for full-time enrollment at Sacramento State. There is no significance, benefit, advantage, or disadvantage given to an applicant related to a member of the Alumni Association or graduate of Sacramento State.

A selection committee will review and rate applications based on the following:

• candidate’s ability to achieve academic success
• demonstrated leadership and participation
• service in school and the community
• hardships and obstacles, financial or otherwise
• quality of the application materials

The Alumni Association will notify scholarship awardees in May, after verifying acceptance to Sacramento State.

As the cost of a college education continues to increase, the Sacramento State Alumni Association is committed to helping the next generation of Sacramento State students by awarding scholarships.
