Alicia Jaime-Razo
Spanish Teacher

Profile

This is my 14th year at West Campus and my 19th year in the Sacramento City Unified School District. I have worked with English Learners and their parents since 2002. Born and raised in Mexico, I have lived and studied in several countries and taught all levels of Spanish.

With a master’s degree in Spanish Linguistics and Literature, I am the ELAC/DELAC (District English Learner Advisory Committee) coordinator and advisor for the West Campus Class of 2020, MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlan), and Latino Club. This year, I am teaching Spanish 3, Heritage Speakers 3, and AP Spanish Heritage Speakers.

I enjoy teaching my students the Hispanic culture and a new language. And I love to spend time with my family, read, dance, and travel.
