I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the beginning of 2016, I got married, moved to Sacramento, and I joined the West Campus family. Since then, this community has felt like the best home!

Literature is so beautiful and I get the opportunity to teach and engage with 12th grade students regarding the topic everyday in AP English Literature and Composition! A typical day in the class includes a ton of collaboration, discussion, and reading. Even more important than literature are the relationships I’m able to build with my students. Excited for the year and all that is to come!
