Prior to coming to West Campus in 2014, I worked at Oak Ridge Elementary for 11 years. I am the Attendance Technician here, and I absolutely love it. When I began in the district, I always wanted to be either a Registrar or an Attendance Technician. My dream has been fulfilled.

I have one daughter, Sandra, who is a senior at CSU Long Beach. After obtaining her degree in psychology, Sandra will further her education by attending graduate school for pharmacology — she wants to make the medicine. My daughter told me she is going to find a cure for cancer because cancer has affected our family members. Last summer, Sandra interned at UC San Francisco, where she conducted research on the JUUL e-cigarette. In August 2019, her research was published online. You will see my daughter’s name as one of the authors on this research. Here is the link. I couldn’t be more proud.
