This will be my 25th year teaching at West Campus. I also graduated from West Campus, where I fell in love with this community and gained an understanding of how powerful a small high school community can be. Being a Warrior is a family affair, as my children have attended West or played a sport for West, and my husband has coached basketball. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Comparative Literature where my love of close reading, analysis, and critical thinking was fostered. I strongly believe that through questioning and seeking understanding, deep learning and acceptance will emerge. I am one of the Class of 2022’s advisors, the MESA advisor, the Filipino Club advisor, and the Christian Club advisor. I love to read, to learn, and to camp. Spending time with my family is what fills my heart.
