This is my 20th year working at West Campus. Although things have changed a bit, this unique school holds a special place in my heart. After initially teaching Algebra, I have taught Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology ever since. From class advisor (2005 & 2014), to coaching tennis, to athletic training, now my focus is on Key Club, Green Team, and Class of 2020.

Physical Education Teacher
I started teaching at West Campus in 2008. This has been my home for 11 years. I have taught Physical Education for the last 14 years and tell people I have the best job. I encourage the students to find the joy of movement through a variety of physical activities. I get the opportunity to help more than 400 students a year become healthier adults.
Sherri Donovan
English Teacher
I have been teaching in the district for 16 years. English is my favorite subject to teach; but I have also taught speech and debate, film analysis, anime, media, and leadership. I am a proud alumni of CSUS, where I received my degree in English and my single subject credential in English.
Debra Durazo
Controller
I started at West Campus in September 2006 as the Front Office Clerk, then later became the Attendance Tech. I left West Campus for a few years and returned as the Office Manager/Controller in July 2017.
I enjoy working with West Campus students because they are hard working and motivated to do their best, and that encourages me to work hard for them.
My proudest accomplishments are my three children. I enjoy spending time with my husband and my little dog Jake!

As a West Campus alumna, I am very excited to be back teaching music at our school. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education at Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a teacher, my goal is to instill a lifelong love and appreciation of music in all of my music students.
