Hello West Campus Families,

Volleyball Playoffs start Tuesday, to check the brackets, please click here. WCHS will be hosting on Tuesday, please plan to attend!
We want to invite students to attend after school tutoring, for available classrooms and subjects, please click here. This program is funded by the ASSETs grant that also funds our zero period Film Studies class.
While we are doing well on campus, I want to take a moment to recognize that these are undoubtedly challenging times across the globe, and especially with the tragic conflict in Israel and Gaza. It is natural to feel a range of emotions as we witness events that impact people’s lives in profound ways. As a school, we stand united in our commitment to fostering understanding, empathy, and respect among our diverse student body.
It is essential to recognize that our school is a microcosm of the world, with students and families representing various backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. During times like these, we emphasize the importance of open dialogue and mutual support within our community. If any student needs assistance, whether emotional or academic, please do not hesitate to reach out to our counseling and social work services.
Free TB screening clinics every Thursday from 3-5pm at Serna Center 5735 47th Ave
Sac City Unified will now be offering free tuberculosis (TB) assessments for staff, new hires and volunteers every Thursday from 3-5pm (unless offices are closed due to a holiday or holiday break). Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is required. Contact Student Support and Health Services at (916) 643-9412 with any questions.
They will do a survey and if you are low risk they will clear you. If you are high risk, they will refer you out to get the TB test done. As a note, the actual TB test is an under skin test that requires 48-72 hours after the initial portion to then get checked.
Thank you,
John McMeekin – Principal
