E-mail blast

Hello West Campus Families,

The past two weeks we have administered over 1000 AP exams to nearly 500 students.  This is the culmination of a school year of work by these students with their teachers.  While the earlier start to the school year this fall will be a challenge for some who have established summer plans, the benefits to AP students and AP teachers will be reaped next spring.  AP tests provide a valuable opportunity for students to validate the efforts of the school year, while additionally providing the opportunity to earn college credits.  Please congratulate students for their efforts this year!

This week, we will be testing all of our juniors for ELA and Mathematics CAASPP.  This is the state mandated testing for all public school students in grades three through eight and grade eleven.

Additionally, this week, we have our Open House and Unity Festival on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Open House concluding at 7:00 pm.  Please plan to attend to speak with teachers and connect with the school community.

In regards to late AP testing:

West Campus will administer the Late AP Exams from May 22nd through May 24th.  If you are interested in proctoring the Late AP Exams, please fill out the link.  If you have a student taking a Late AP exam, please choose a different exam to proctor.

If needed, the AP exam proctor training is scheduled on Monday, May 20th, and Tuesday, May 21st via Zoom or in person.

For more information, please contact AP Coordinator, Euniceann Roland.

Thank you,

John McMeekin – Principal
