Engineering Students to Compete at Sac State
Wednesday, Dec. 11

Event

About two dozen West Campus students are headed to Sacramento State this Wednesday, December 11, to present their projects in front of judges as part of an engineering competition, the culminating event of the CREATE program.

Supported by the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange, CREATE is an afterschool program that educates and inspires students to pursue careers that create the built environment — careers like architecture, engineering, and construction trades. It also offers scholarships, which several West Campus seniors have earned through their participation in the program!

For 12 weeks, our students have been meeting after school, receiving mentorship from industry professionals, and working collaboratively with their peers to complete their projects.

Please wish our Warriors good luck at the competition!
