Shawna Placido-Bell
English Teacher
This will be my 25th year teaching at West Campus. I also graduated from West Campus, where I fell in love with this community and gained an understanding of how powerful a small high school community can be. Being a Warrior is a family affair, as my children have attended West or played a sport for West, and my husband has coached basketball. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Comparative Literature where my love of close reading, analysis, and critical thinking was fostered.
Tracie Podsednik
Spanish Teacher
I started at West Campus in 2005 and have really loved working with our students ever since! I studied Spanish and history at UC Davis and have a master’s degree in Spanish linguistics and literature from UC Santa Barbara. I have been lucky enough to live and study abroad in Mexico and Spain and strongly encourage my students to travel abroad as well. In my free time, I enjoy travel and try to escape to the mountains with my husband and son as often as possible.
Lokesh Prashar
Mathematics Teacher
I was born and raised in India. Since 1996, I have been employed by the SCUSD and teaching mathematics. Currently, I teach AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and Integrated Mathematics III Plus. When not in school, I love spending time with my family (wife and two sons). If time permits, I also like working as a Realtor. I joined the West Campus family in 2017, and it has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of this community.
Euniceann Roland
Vice Principal
I very humbled and honored to be introduced myself as the new Vice Principal of West Campus High School (WCHS) and to join this great school community. The 2022-2023 school year marks my 23rd year in education. I have worked with a variety of student ranging from TK through high school as a science teacher, intervention specialist, ASB Coordinator, lead teacher, and administrator.
I’m blessed with a loving husband and a caring daughter. I love camping, gardening, watching movies, reading, and listening to showtunes.

I enjoy teaching biological sciences at West Campus and look forward to instructing the students about biological concepts and building science skills.
