Hello West Campus Families,
Welcome Back!!!
Tomorrow, January 8, school resumes as scheduled. We hope students are recharged and ready to return to school and prepare for the upcoming finals January 22 – January 25. Please note that January 26th is the last day of the quarter and is a minimum day. ASB and the Foundation are planning for the Pancake Breakfast on January 26th.

Please take the next two weeks to relax and recharge with family and friends. The holidays are a great time of year to connect and recharge. There will be ample time for school when we return in the new year. Our homework policy is in place to reserve this time for families.

Congrats to the Mean Girls cast who did an amazing job in this Fall’s musical. The clear talent and effort of our students over the past few months to prepare was evident this past weekend. Thank you also to Nor-Cal Theater for supporting our site to put on this production. Based on the crowd response, this was a well received play and we should look forward to future WCHS productions.

Hello West Campus Families,
We begin the course request process for the 2024-2025 school year this week. Over the next two weeks, counselors and administrators will be presenting course options in classroom visits to students. Once the classroom visits have concluded, the presentation slides will be available to review. Students will have access to enter their course requests until Thursday, December 21, 2023.

Hello West Campus Families,
Please enjoy the week break for the Thanksgiving holidays. The school will be closed the entire week of November 20, 2023 to November 24, 2023. We will see everyone back on Monday, November 27, 2023. Please keep in mind our homework policy that states that students should not receive homework designated for completion over the break. This should be a time for students to recharge following the marathon start of the school year.

Thank you to our Veterans, both current and past as well as their families. Through their sacrifices we can celebrate many freedoms. This past Friday was a holiday to honor their service and sacrifice.

Hello West Campus Families,
As part of the ASSETs after school grant, we are asking all families to sign their students up. When you sign up, your student is then eligible to be included in the numbers we report to qualify to continue to receive this funding. Students who sign up are not committing to attend regularly, drop attendees are needed as well. We are hoping to have all families sign up. To sign up click here.

athletics, tutoring, or one of the clubs offered by West Campus’s
amazing staff, students are required to sign up for ASSETs
so that we can provide even more resources to the activities
you’re already doing. We open up the library daily for drop-in
tutoring, and also provide a free supper program every day right

In cooperation with WCHS, one of our current 10th grade students is working to put on a Medical Professions Conference. This will be held at WCHS in March. If you are interested in attending, please complete this survey to assist in planning this event.

Thank you to all the families who were able to join their student for Lunch With Your Warrior Day! This is a great event and we will schedule an additional date later in the year.
This week we will have a Fentanyl Awareness Assembly. This will be Tuesday during the school day, we will follow a rally day schedule to accommodate this valuable presentation to increase student awareness.

Back to Back Champions!
Congratulations to our Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team. This past weekend (September 17-18, 2023) they competed in the Carmichael Invitational Volleyball Tournament. This tournament features over 35 teams and involves a competitive atmosphere with back to back contests.
Our team has won this tournament two years in a row! Congratulations to the the players and coaches!

September 15, 2023 to October 15, 2023
Hispanic Heritage Month lasts from September 15 to October 15 each year. This period is observed by celebrating and acknowledging the history and culture of our ancestors with origins from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The timing of Hispanic Heritage Month coincides with the Independence Day celebrations of several Latin American nations.
